Is the computer faster after cleaning?
Yes, when your computer slows down. The gain shows up most on machines with lots of junk, many programs in the background or a forgotten startup item.
Why does free memory drop again?
Because the system uses free memory for cache. Dropping again is normal behavior, not a cleaner failure.
Does cleaning "standby" memory make a difference?
In the Microsoft Store version it is left out, because it requires Administrator, and Windows already reuses it on its own.
Are the measured numbers a guarantee?
No. On an 8 GB computer with programs closed first, memory use drops from 80% to 37–39%. With programs open the drop is smaller: across 419 cleanups without Administrator, the median was +880 MB free, and 97% freed something. Another machine and another use give another number.

Do I need Administrator?
No. The program works on your regular account; the areas that would require Administrator appear marked, and the program warns you before cleaning.
Does it delete my files?
Not in memory cleaning. Temp files and Recycle Bin are calculated first and only go after your confirmation; files changed in the last 24 hours and files in use stay.
Can automatic cleaning get in the way?
It is limited to once every five minutes and respects the ignored-programs list. If it's getting in the way, switch it off in the settings tab.
Does it work on Mac or Linux?
Cleaner is made for Windows 10 and 11.

Does it update automatically?
Yes. Installed from the Microsoft Store, it gets new versions through the store itself. In Tools › Update the program you can check right away.
Do I need an account?
To try it, no: there is no sign-up and no telemetry. To buy, yes: the license comes from your account on the site. The program checks the license without internet.
How does the 7-day trial work?
