KeepWards
KeepWards Cleaner

Everything it
does for you.

Memory back when your computer slows down, disk space back and nothing deleted before you see it. Here is every feature, with what it solves.

Where memory comes back

In the Microsoft Store version, six work: open programs, modified list, pending disk writes, registry cache, site addresses (DNS) and clipboard. The other five require Administrator, which the store doesn't allow, and are marked below.

  • Open programs

The working memory of running processes. It is the area that gives back the most memory when the computer is slow.

  • Modified list and pending writes

What Windows keeps in memory to write to disk later. Cleaner orders the write and gives that memory back.

  • Standby and light standby

Administrator only: left out in the store version. Memory on standby, which Windows reuses on its own.

  • File cache and combined list

Administrator only: left out in the store version. Files Windows keeps in memory and repeated pages it merges into one place.

  • Registry

Windows registry cache. Usually small, but it counts.

  • Windows working memory

Administrator only: left out in the store version. The memory used by Windows itself, separate from the programs'.

  • Address cache (DNS)

The addresses of sites you visited. Cleaning helps when a site moved and the computer insists on the old address.

  • Clipboard

What was copied and is still in memory. Cleaning discards the copy without touching the original file.

Beyond cleaning memory

A big number alone doesn't solve anything. These features show what takes up memory and space, and whatever goes first passes through your confirmation.

  • Find out what's weighing things down

Lists the programs weighing things down, with the option to reduce one or close it, always with confirmation.

  • Disk space back

Calculates temp files and Recycle Bin and only deletes what you authorize. Files changed in the last 24 hours and files in use stay.

  • A lighter browser, passwords intact

Deletes pages and images stored by Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox. History, cookies and passwords are not touched; an open browser is not cleaned.

  • Know what opens with Windows

Shows the programs that open with Windows. In the store version, switching off is done in Windows Settings: Cleaner points to the path.

  • Cleans without you remembering

By interval or by free memory, at most one cleanup every five minutes. And Ctrl + Alt + L cleans from any window.

  • You see it first, and it's logged

Before cleaning, the program shows item by item what will go and how much space it takes. Each memory cleanup is logged with before and after.

Window, tray and language

The program lives in the tray and appears when you call it. No mandatory window on the desktop.

  • Tray with memory use

The icon shows memory in use. Middle click cleans, right click opens the menu.

  • Three languages, two themes

Portuguese, English and Spanish; light and dark theme. The language follows the system.

  • Works on your regular account

No Administrator needed. The areas that would require Administrator appear marked, and the program warns you before cleaning.

The measured number (median of +880 MB across 419 cleanups without Administrator, on an 8 GB computer) is on the product page.
